Our baby is having his 1st shed with us. Today he shed his head leaving behind a tiny bit of skin around both of his eyes that seems to be irritating his eyes. Should I just leave him to it and not worry?

I also just had this thought...his hide/cave is very large for him at the moment and probably doesnt feel very secure. Infact I have never even seen him in it. I will go out and grab him a smaller second one today. Maybe that will help!

We have a t5 10.0 in a sunblaster fixture. Temps are 105-110 under basking spot and 80-85 on cool side. 2 digital thermometers and all lights are mounted inside.

I think you are both right, thank you. I will probably go with a Sunblaster as I need at least a 36" and really want a reflector.
