It could be done quite easily with sheets of melamime, which you can get in varying lengths from most hardware suppliers. I wouldn't make it 4 feet deep though, purely and simply because you'd have to climb in it too clean it! As for lighting, I personally would have 2 x 5foot tubes down each...

I got mine off Ebay, cost about £1.50 TOTAL! Most of the bits n bobs I needed, except for the wood, I got off Ebay, and I reckon I saved well over 50% on what I would have paid in a store. :D

Try Ebay, I use it all the time for items like this. Saved a fortune.
