Do hornworms need special types of food

Rn, my beardie is barely alive. I put him in a mixture of water and cornsyrup and sugar to moisten it and try to push it back in. And Im afraid if the beardie doesnt die from this, he will die from starvation. Im trying to get it to the vet as soon as possible. Can someone give me tips on what to do

and is there anything i remove from the tank sorry for the questions im very worried
