    Cleaning homemade enclosure

I recently lost my bearded dragon. She had gout, but I never had her tested for adenovirus. I have a homemade enclosure. The bottom is melamine, but the sides are wood. I've gone through some threads about sanitizing aquariums for adenovirus that suggest bleaching them and resealing them to...

    Swollen hind limb = MBD?

It is likely gout, which I think there is very little they can do to my understanding. Both hind legs are affected, though one is worse than the other. Has anyone dealt with this?

    Swollen hind limb = MBD?

That sounds interesting. I hydrate her by soaking her in a little tub of water, but honestly I fell behind on that. I've been soaking her more recently, but she could be dehydrated. On the vet, they said he sees reptiles a lot. I wanted to go somewhere right away, so that restricts me a bit on...

    Swollen hind limb = MBD?

I have a small dragon that was born in 2008. Yesterday I noticed that one hind limb and foot is swollen. I've made a vet appointment for tomorrow morning, but is this likely to be MBD, and can they improve even if older? I'm not sure I understand this as I use a Powersun MVB and feed collards...

    Quit eating salads?

Honestly, I'm not sure how much weight she has lost because I don't have a scale. Her weight has never been a problem before. In general she looks thinner to me, but she does still have fat pads on her head, etc. so she isn't emaciated - but she's definitely looking thinner than she was. I have...

    Quit eating salads?

I have a female bearded dragon that is 6 years old. Recently, she has all but stopped eating her salads, no matter what I do. I am using mustard, collard, or turnip greens. I did recently purchase a new MVB bulb because I thought the old one was having an issue (it ended up being the switch...

    is this tail rot?

I'm not sure. Hopefully someone who has seen this will reply. I do know that the very tip of mine's tail is crooked from a past nip, which happened before I got her. She didn't end up losing the tip, though. I would be careful with that because you don't want it to move up higher than it has to...

    is this tail rot?

Is he kept with another bearded dragon? It almost looks like a bite injury to me. I'd probably soak it, put antibiotic ointment on it, and take him to a vet to see if he needs farther treatment.

    HELP Please!

I am in Kansas City - I hope you enjoy your move and the area. I don't know much about car travel with bearded dragons, so I'll just wish you luck on that.

    Toenails

I am really scared to cut my bearded dragon's toenails. They definitely seem too long. Is there something that I can put in the cage to grind her toenails down a bit? Or do I need to bite the bullet and cut them?

My new lil guy/girl(not sure lol)

Very cute. It is interesting that in the pictures, he (or she) does not look extremely tiny for being so young. Do you have a name picked out yet?

    Newbie getting an adult BD

    1. I feed the same vegetables as the above poster. I primarily use collard, mustard, and turnip greens. One of our local grocery stores doesn't sell those greens, but another store always has a big selection of them. I use scissors to chop them up into smaller pieces. 2. I usually feed crickets...

Need Advice for a Rescue Beardie

First of all, I have to say that I am not experienced with rescues. However, if he has stress marks now, then it might be good to make changes and see if the stress marks improve.

Ads for very sick bearded dragons

It is so wonderful that he is getting the care that he needs now. I hope he continues to do well. He looks like he will be really pretty when he recovers and puts some weight on.
