i had posted a topic before about my beardie being to dark and was told it had something to do with it being breeding season by someone at a pet store but this morning he has mucus or something coming out of his nose...i need help please
i was told today that it was breeding season for bds and that he was sexually frustrated...anyway hes got all of his color back hes just really pissy and beardin up at everything....that sound right to anyone?
ive come to the conclusion that its somthin to do with heat and my seven year old bein over him....sad to say those temps havent been much higher in a whilethey stay right aound 90 but this is according to a probe thermometer...ive always figured he was ok because i see him gaping and his always...
i managed to get some pictures but of course he doesnt look as dark on them as he does here and this isnt quite as dark as he has been being
the other day was the brightest ive ever seen him it he was a highyellowish red color so its quite a stark contrast for just a days time
ok i took the uvb bulb out and i have had a basking bulb on top of his aquarium and like i said the warmest i can get it by that thermometer is 90 but when i came back home he was in the shadow up under his little log fixture like he was trying to hide and hes really warm to the touch
since ive been informed to remove his uvb i was wondering if i could put his red night bulb in its place to help raise the tempuratures...and another thing he keeps runs up against the walls of the aquarium every now and again where the sunlight usually shines in and i dont know if maybe hes...
hes eating fine and im am working on his set up as i can but the economy has taken its toll...ive got his temps up to 90 but thats about as high as i can get it i think with what i have right now...he pooped thismorning after i fed him and what exactly is this RI he can catch....any advice...

ive had him since the end of december and he was 3 months when i got him so guess around 7 months old...i still have him on carpet and i try to feed him crickets about three times a day and ive been putting asparagus and collard greens in...
i have had him since the end of december and they told me at the pet store that he was 3 months old but hes only 10-12 inches long and from what ive read it seems he would be bigger but i coulda just got things confused...but other than being a little short he seems fine..just pissy
i have a just recently got my first bearded dragon and im having problems handling him. when my wife handles him hes jumpy and racy and seems like a pissy old man. i dont handle him that often because of this....help
i was wondering if there were any kind of rocks that were not good to have inside of the enviroment besides heat rocks...for example rocks found at the the creek or in the woods as long as they are properly cleansed...im scared of getting poisonous or dangerous rocks is what it boils down too...help
