Yesterday he climbed out of his cage!!! He went on top of his basking rock, stretched up & managed to latch onto the flourescent tube fixture & climbed out. I let him walk around the room for a bit. I think I need a new tank like TODAY!!!!

Im starting to think so too. A lot of times I peek into his cave & his eyes are open. He just doesnt want to come out.

Thanks, I am thinking the same thing. He just looks unhappy. I was relying on a friend to drop off an unused 55 gallon tank, but 2 weeks later no tank. I may have to just go out & buy one myself.

Hello, my male beardie is 8 1/2 months old & hasn't been acting himself for about 2 weeks now. Instead of basking on top of his hide rock/cave, he's been inside it during the day. When he's out, he seems to look fine, but I've noticed he's doing a lot of digging & tearing up the paper towels...

That's some good advice. I did use the toothbrush with just water on his toes, but it seems the smell is still there. It's a faint smell, but still there. Or maybe it's just in my nose! lol

I havent tried dawn soap. Good thing I didnt. I will try the toothbrush first. Sounds like a beardie pedicure!

Rango has a habbit of stepping in his poop before I can clean it up. He gets in between his toes, yuck! I bathe him in warm water, but it just doesn't get his toes clean enough. Is there a safe soap I could use to help with the "poop" smell?
