Today I used my magic bullet. ;) I added a tiny bit of water to get it going and pulsed it a few times. Worked like a charm! I poured it through a strainer and got nicely chopped leaves (for a baby beardie!).

The dimensions of the exo terra tank I have are 36x18x18 (though actual inside is more like 35x17x17). Is this tank large enough for using a MVB and is it tall enough to somehow mount inside the cage?? I just read some article about how MVB's may actually be more optimal for baby beardies...

Thank you! :) well, I decided to remove the foam background so that essentially eliminates the problem of not being able to mount the light! A shame to not be able to use the foam background that came with this expensive tank though!
