How long have you had your new beardie? My guess from his age is that you haven't had him very long. Much of his stress may come from relocation. I got my little boy at about the same age, and he was pretty nervous and stressed for about a week or so. I did what you did and just handled him...

I wouldn't worry too much about the UV - it sounds like you have ordered a good one. If you are worried about the light you have now, he should be ok for a couple of days until the new one arrives. My beardie will also occasionally close and eye or two. I am not sure why, but I think it is...

Barbara - you are right...that little belly just begs for a kiss! LOL. What a little cutie! Abu has an awesome belly too! I agree he looks really BIG in those pictures for only being 5 months! My Cheeto has grown alot though - he is 19 weeks - just shy of 5 months - and he is over 15 inches...

So she is storing up to give you some really big ones eh? LOL. Cheeto still poops alot. At least twice a day. Occasionally 3 times if I bathe him. He still only poops on his reptile hammock. Doesn't use it for anything else...just a toilet. LOL. I need to get one without holes in...

I know what you mean. I took a pic of Cheeto sleeping tonight and because of the way he was lying, his belly was sticking out. But he really doesn't have much of a belly at this point. Poor guy is out of crickets too and my online order doesn't come until Wednesday morning! I have already...

Pillsbury is a big well-known company here - and one of their logo's is a little man made out of dough (like for bread). He has a big tummy. In the commercials there is always this big finger that comes and pokes his little belly and he giggles. Check it out on YouTube...I am sure you could...
