    Pacing female

Is it normal that I can't feel eggs yet? Again, she pooped in her tank this morning....even smaller than yesterday. Mostly urate. She ate nothing today. But she's a big girl, so I'm not too concerned about that  I put her in the lay box today, but she just sat there. She still basks...

    Pacing female

Ok. I've got her lay box all ready for action. I dug a little hole to get her started. At this point I think she thinks I'm nuts. So I'll just keep trying. How long should I give her before I rule out eggs? A couple weeks?

    Pacing female

Wow. I'm going to get some more substrate to put in her lay box tonight. What can I grab quickly from Freddies (if anything), that is not as expensive as coco fiber? Can't get to the harware store tonight for play sand.

Sounds VERY similar. I will keep watching, and keep offering the dig box. We will see what happens. She hasn't made me this nervous in a long while.

    Pacing female

Strange behavior out of my girl the last few days. She's about 14 months old. 17 inches, and 580g. She has proper heating and lighting and substrate, in a 40 breeder. UVB will be 6 months at the end of the month, almost ready to change. She eats mostly greens and supers at the moment. Anyway...

I had to stop using phoenix worms as well for the same reason.

    My freddie is still upset?

Could be relocation stress, could be the fact that he needs a UVB. Could be lots of things. What has he been eating? When is the last time he had a bowel movement? Have you given him a bath lately? What is your substrate?

    Adult Basking Temp

Ok good. Just making sure! My little girl is growing up...sniff

    Adult Basking Temp

Oh. And yes, she seems healthy otherwise. And she's not really napping on the cool side. She's just hanging out. Alert, and watching the world to by.

    Adult Basking Temp

She used to spend almost her entire time on her basking rock. She has the reptisun .10 mounted inside, at the top of her 40 breeder tank 6-8 inches away...depending on where she is sitting on her rock. She basks in the morning, gets down and eats her salad once she is warm. Then climbs back to...

    Adult Basking Temp

No. I haven't seen her gape since she was little with even higher temps. Cool side is 81...measuring with temp gun.

    Adult Basking Temp

So, Saphira is now over a year old. Eating more veggies, and a bit less protein. She's been spending a lot more time in the cool side of her tank. Her basking spot is about 101-103 during the day. Should I lower the temp to 95 or so? Or is it normal for her to spend more time in the cool area now?
