    More morph questions..

tiger is not a genetic morph, but more descriptive of the pattern. I wouldn't hold out too much hope for the stripiness either but you never know.

Interest check for a future clutch?

For all I know she stopped the bs with the possible hets. Its an old thread. But its not hearsay as she posts in the thread saying what she does and how she feels about it. I know you made it clear that you weren't out to make money. But as you also mentioned, its not free to produce/move...

Interest check for a future clutch?

No hard feelings. I apologize as well. And admit I did misread the part about selling to breeders. I thought that was the intention and read it the opposite of what you actually said. My phone keeps going off, and people are bugging me while I'm trying to talk to you. I thought the most...

Interest check for a future clutch?

Sorry I'm multi tasking and didn't realize you responded. I'll say straight off, that I obviously read your post. There was a lot in it. I addressed the issues with your pairing. I'm trying to help. If you don't want my help, then I will gladly stop posting. I'm not getting paid to help you, so...

Interest check for a future clutch?

I will say she grows some big fat healthy beardies. So shes good about that part. So if you choose to buy from her, I believe you will get a nice healthy dragon. The prices and 66% het thing is my only issue.

Interest check for a future clutch?

Also, despite the prices that personally I think are out of the normal range, this tamara doesn't seem to think there is a problem with labeling 66% hets as het. Check this thread out sense it has to do with this conversation and oddly the person your buying from as well...

Interest check for a future clutch?

Ok, I'll try to explain this differently. For the sake of explaining, we'll say that you had 4 babies, and the odds played out exactly how you would expect, even though saying 1 out of 4 will be hypo means "odds are" and there is variance to what you actually get. So, you breed 2 het hypos, and...

Interest check for a future clutch?

how closely is not too closely? Also, breeding het to het doesn't give you known hets. Your going to end up with a bunch of possible hets. basically, whatever babies aren't hypo, will have a 66% chance of being het for hypo. You wont know which one have it. Same goes for trans. 1 out of 16...

    Egg hatching time

Usually once their nose peeks out, at least the head will come out quite soon after that, but sometimes they take a break at that point and rest with just their head out for up to a day or so. Don't worry, it doesn't mean he's stuck or anything. He'll come the rest of the way out when he is...

Any way to cut down on cricket smell?

thats what I would do. I think you'll see a big difference. I know its a pain to buy something made for a purpose, then cut on it, but it'll work a lot better. Its just not a great design in my opinion.

Dragon Eggs Deflated - HELP PLEASE

Sounds good. There are some "uv" bulbs that are horrible, and basically just lie about what they emit. Even worse are some of the "full spectrum" bulbs. Some companies use the term so loosely that it means nothing. I dont know how its not illegal. Most of us use reptisun 10.0 bulbs, sense they...

    Growing veggies?

No argument there. But wilting their leaves to that extreme cant be good. I should have taken a picture. I've had other plants wilt up a little when it scorches, but this was ridiculous. I'm just assuming that could go to far and damage things if it got to bad. Instead of risking it, I typically...

Any way to cut down on cricket smell?

window screen is metal. if you get the metal kind. hehehe. I guess I could have been more specific about that, but it is a good point. Thats really not enough ventilation to keep it dry enough in there to keep the poop dry and the bacteria away (bacteria stinks and loves moisture). I used to...

Dragon Eggs Deflated - HELP PLEASE

healthy beardie eggs grow a lot as well. More than you'd think. Which is why a pic woulda been good. But really, its not going to make a big difference at this point. 5X seems like a lot. Its probably the same thing that happened to me, maybe with some other incubation factor on top of that...
