    Turkistan or Dubia?

Turkistans moves faster and breeds faster as well. I have a bin of turkistans with a packing tape lining the insides. I used to also have vaseline smeared across the inside as an extra precaution, but I personally find that the turkistans can't climb past the packing tape itself. Plus the...

    Dubia in summer?

escapees happen when you handle them, separate the sizes, clean the tote, etc. The first one that escaped was an adult male back when I was new to roaches. I had packing tape inside the bin but I took the lid off to feed from it, I guess I was away from the bin too long, enough for one male to...

    Bugorder.com - Bad experience

That sucks, I feel bad cuz unless it's a really huge company that sells bugs, most bug sellers online are people with full time jobs and selling bugs on the side, so inevitably life gets in the way sometimes. However the best thing to do would've been to send an email informing the customer of...

    SO I start with 100 roaches..how long..

I'm guessing maybe 4-6 months before you start seeing them explode, i could be wrong, just working from memory lol. It takes a while for nymphs to mature and then you have to wait for the adults to give birth, but my best guestimate is 4-6 months.

    SO I start with 100 roaches..how long..

What kind of roach? What size are the 100 roaches? What temps do you keep them at? I would put more ventilation in there. My bin's lid doesn't seal either but it has a screen mesh for ventilation.

    Discoids.

I dont think discoids are illegal in Florida so I think any roach breeder can sell you some if they have it.

    Let's See Your Feeder Bins!

That's a cool setup u got there, especially how you separate the egg crates with cardboard and how you have the paper rolls stacked like that. Is there a hole at the bottom of the paper rolls so they can get out from the bottom or do they have to climb all the way up to get out? Also you...

OK Im ready to post my roaches how much shouldI sell themfor

Just visit other seller's sites to see their prices and make your decision from there. Also free shipping attracts buyers, but just remember that a regular flate rate box via USPS cost around $10.70 to ship. 20-25 cents per roach is fair.

Can you do a test shipment of dubia instead of lobsters  Smaller box inside bigger box, heat pack in winter, newspaper/other padding. Just don't put the roaches in 1 box because people tend to hate it when they open it up unprepared for the roaches crawling immediately in the first...

Great Cricket Escape Pt Deux- Need help!

You can use a bucket since it has a tight lid, the downside is not a lot of surface space.
