Both of his front legs do look a bit swollen like that. I just thought it was normal but i guess not? I think he looks quite healthy overall. Im going to post the bloodwork in a minute as well. Is there any medicine i should be giving him? I am limiting his protein as suggested and upping...

    Grainy orange urate

Thanks Tracie. He is 8 months old. Very young. I am not sure why he is having this issues, i can only think i messed up and gave too much protein. I could say maybe his front legs have a bit of swelling, i will grab a picture and post it. Maybe his hind legs too. But he moves very well. I will...

    Grainy orange urate

I will give those a try this week. I actually was able to get him to the vet yesterday. The blood work has just come back and his uric acid levels are 13 and white blood cell was 11,000 or something. They said it was quite high and quite high uric acid level. I am thinking it could possibly be...

    Grainy orange urate

Thank you Tracie really appreciate it. I really like the vitaminz powder but i will look into liquid calcium, sometimes after feeding calcium he gets hard white urate so maybe it is drying him out a bit. I tried butternut sqush a couple months ago but he wasn't too fond of it. I will try again...

    Grainy orange urate

It varies a bit. The urate is just very grainy, like sand. Vitaminz powder. And powdered calcium. Do you recommend the liquid of either instead? For greens usually collard greens and dandelion greens although he really prefers collard greens. I do give carrot as well, bur havent given any in...

    Grainy orange urate

Thanks Karrie i appreciate that. The orange just didnt seem normal. I really dont think parasite because his fecal is not that smelly. Last time he had parasites it was quite bad and not well formed at all. I figured this could be a result of oversuplemtation, dehydration or a liver/kidney...

    Grainy orange urate

No orange things. He gets vitaminz supplement from tracie every 4 days and calcium every other day. I know they need protein everyday. I always give him as much as he will eat in 10 mins twice per day but i have stopped in case there is a liver issue. The orange in the poop just really worried...

    Grainy orange urate

Hello, I am posting this because for the past 8 days there has been some orange color in my dragons urate. I believe the issue to be some dehydration but i am curious to see if anyone else has any ideas. I have been doing a lot of reading on here and have been giving 2+ mL of water and about a...

    a few general questions

Great! Thank you karrie. I am a bit calmer now. I was worried he really wasnt getting enough uvb at 11 inches away but it sounds like i just need to make his basking spot a bit taller. Really appreciate the help! :)

    a few general questions

Basking can be 6 inch away from heat lamp? And uvb 8-10 inches away from basking? Sorry i am a bit confused

    a few general questions

Looks very similar to mine. Mine is a wider hole type but not chicken wire wide. Based on that screen what would you recommend for distance to basking? And then what about his heat lamp? I dont want him to be too close to the heat.
