    Playsand at 10 months?

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the towel thing before. He buried himself in it and didn't come out to bask, so I removed it. That was only a few days after I got him so he could've just been suffering relocation stress, so I'll try again.

    Playsand at 10 months?

My dragon seems to have a strong urge to dig alot of the time. I have been reluctant to establish a sand section for him, since he's only 10 months old and likes to lick stuff! However, I'd really like to satisfy his digging insticts and was wondering if there is a major risk problem in...

    Mean undersized beardie Help!!!

Great. Well done for putting in the effort. I'd just like to elaborate on my feeding advice. His small size is almost definately a result of underfeeding. At his age he could eat up to 60 live food items per day if he insists on not eating greens. It would probably be best to work up to the two...

Okay. For your dragon to get better, you're going to have to follow my above advice. Also, start offering green daily, he need to at least have the choice.

Some additional questions. Do you offer veggies daily? What sorts of veggies have you been offering?

Does your digital thermometer have a wire probe? If so, you're going to need to get yourself another digital thermometer. If not, you're going to need to get two. Place one probe directly on the basking spot, the other at the furthest point at the cool side. Compact bulbs have proven to be...

    Mean undersized beardie Help!!!

Tile is a good, safe substrate. Well done. Dial thermometers are known to give innacurate readings. Your temperatures could be a little out. Which thermometer is where? At his age, he should be fed as many appropriately sized (about the size of space between their eyes) live food items as they...

    my dragons dying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this is abnormal behaviour for your dragon, and said behaviour continues, follow the advice above, to be on the safe side. If he fails deficate regulary, becomes lethargic and/or darkens his beard, a vets visit will be in order.

    my dragons dying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt very much that your "dragon's dying". Constantly feeding oversized foods will lead to health problems. A one off situation involving largely soft bodied insects like locusts isn't likely to be a fatal one. Keep an eye on his behaviour and bowel movements. Any huge changes, post again. If...
