Hi, I live in Quincy. I have 2 adult beardies age 7, one 9 month old and 11 babies that hatched a month ago. This is the 5th clutch of eggs we have had. David
P.S. What the recipe for your guacamole :D
If you're ever in the area of Quincy/Boston let me know, I could sell you some. My stock is a little low now, trying to rebuild my colonies. I almost lost them all from losing power for 2 days. I managed to keep them alive by keeping them near the fireplace.
buying through the for sale section here has great deals. Can't be much easier than when they are shipped to your door, just watch the temps. Craigslist can be good at times too.
I'm in Quincy and have a colony. If you want some samples send me a pm. I usually have a lot for sale but just had a clutch of 20 beardies hatch recently. I'm trying to build up my stock again. I'd be happy to give you some samples and bet they will love them. David
I use plastic lids from the recycle bin and give them a quick sanding for the small ones to climb in and out. I also use tennis ball container lids. Our local tennis courts are littered with them even though there are plenty of trash barrels around. I don't like litterers
just put more egg cartons in and give them time to crawl onto it. The trick is to move the egg cartons very slowly so they don't jump off. Let them do the work for a change.
Maybe they are those crazy Jamaician Field crickets. A local pet store has them but I'm not interested.

That did help and thank you. You are my hero! Now that I know what they are I must decide if I want to start a colony. I already have dubias and hissers. Thanks again WoolyMarmot, David
