    Nostril Plugged?

Yay! :blob5: it is kind of crazy how big they are and no wonder they can't breathe. The ear plugs are funny looking too when they finally dislodge.

    Nostril Plugged?

I just searched here on plugged nostril, it says don't pull it but try to mist it to loosen. It says if you pull it might risk injury to interior nostril. I was freaked out by the breathing so I didn't pull but scraped like she would have against a branch or something.

    Nostril Plugged?

Hi, I'm a newbie, but just experienced this and so will post my experience. My beardie is 9 months and has adenovirus, so I thought she was having a respiratory infection because she had such labored breathing and was gaping but I also knew she had been shedding. I was ready to rush her to the...

best feeder for ~8 month old

I have an 8 month old as well and I buy the Dubia's in bulk online. I couldn't keep 60 crickets alive long enough (maybe 3 days) and felt like I was always in the pet store buying them. I buy the Medium Dubia's and although they seem to be a bit more in price, they last alot longer (it is hard...

Using Repashy Veggie Burger to give supplements

That's a great idea, I have both and was going to alternate, but mixing half and half would be better and then I should be able to hide all her supplements in it.

who else kiss their bearded dragon?

I did until the vet told me they can spread salmonella, so now I don't and make sure I thoroughly wash my hands (I wash them before, but now I really wash them ) after handling her.

Using Repashy Veggie Burger to give supplements

Hi, So my beardie is 8 months old and recently diagnosed with Adenovirus (along with coccidia and pinworms, which is how she got diagnosed). She is a good eater, but after giving her antibiotics in a syringe, she is very resistant to anything put in her mouth. After some research, I am trying...

Is it okay to mix feeders in a single feeding?

Okay, thanks everyone for the confirmation. I thought it would be okay, but I couldn't find any posts where people mentioned mixing.

Is it okay to mix feeders in a single feeding?

We have a juvenile bearded dragon that is about 3 months old. We have had him for about 3 weeks, he stopped eating crickets for a whole week but would eat dubia roaches. I kept offering a few crickets with the roaches and one day he decided to start eating the crickets again. So I offer a...

    Too much UVB? T5 5.0 or 10.0?

Okay thanks, I've been studying up a lot. :study:

    Too much UVB? T5 5.0 or 10.0?

His branch that he sits on is anywhere from 9 to 10.5 inches away from the light (the light sits in the back half of his enclosure). I know they say at least 12 inches away is ideal, but couldn't tell if that was while the light was sitting on the mesh top or not.

    Too much UVB? T5 5.0 or 10.0?

Here is a picture show more of the top of the enclosure.

    Too much UVB? T5 5.0 or 10.0?

It is the long tube type, it in the back half of the enclosure and the basking is in the front half where the branch is raised a bit. I've seen him occasionally go under the branch to get out of the light, so I was hoping he would know if he is getting too much UVB. If that is the case then...
