i ordered them in from the local petshop, they are pretty expensive - $13 for 20 worms. I was going to try to breed them but there are no mulberry trees close enough for me to get enough leaves at the moment, and the silkworm food stuff that you can buy in America isn't readily available here.

You could try handling Sami at night when he's sleepy, wrap him up in a small blanket with his head poking out the top and then place him (in the blanket) on your chest, even inside your shirt or jumper. A lot of beardies seem to like this and it helps them to associate your scent with safety...

expert5070: i'm not just taking him to the vet to confirm his gender, i'm taking him in for a check-up because the girl who had him before me wasn't looking after him correctly and he is quite small for his age. i just want to make sure he's healthy.
