He changed back pretty fast, we had just not seen that before. He was 1 year in October. We have had him since January 2020. Yes, I think he is fine, we were just surprised by it.

Our bearded went full black beard with black spots going down his neck. We have never seen him do this before! He was just in his cage in a room where no one else was. My son took him out and now he is walking around just fine. His beard is back to normal color. Is this something to worry about...

Here is the tail spot. Really hard to get a good pic but it is the rounded area to the right.

Check out the black spot under his eye and the weird area on the underside of his tail. I'm not sure what these are or if it is something we should be concerned about. He also hasn't pooped in 3 days. Any thoughts? The tail pic will be posted shortly.

Our beardie has a few gray scales on his head. The biggest patch is over his left eye. There are also some on his nose and under his mouth. It doesn't look like when he normally sheds. Any thoughts?

I just placed an order for black soldier fly larva. He loves mealworms and superworms, so we are going to try those and see how he likes them.

Back from the vet! Turns out he (beardie) had damaged his tail when he ripped the skin off. It was dead in that black spot so they amputated above the dead spot. They said he will be just fine and otherwise looks great!
