It's mounted outside of the tank. It's the t8 version. It's probably a few inches from it. I plan to upgrade hopefully pretty soon and have it where t's mounted from inside if it's the correct way to do it.

Forgot to mention that. Yes, he has a UVB light bulb. He typically poops every 1-2 days. Sometimes every 3. and the last time he did so was on Thursday. Ever since he had a sperm plug, it took a while for him to poop. Charlie eats a few times per day. It's just after I started observing these...
