    Radiant Heat Panel?

No, the heat panels provide a basking spot. Even, radiant heat, under neat the panel. You can read about them here: http://www.pro-products.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=55&Itemid=59

    Radiant Heat Panel?

But why does it need to be a light? It's radiating heat, feels just like warmth from the sun.

    Radiant Heat Panel?

I guess not then? I don't see why it couldn't be used, though. Bob Pound from Pro-Products has tested them with just about every reptile. Green tree python keepers swear by them, so, why not?

We Are All Here For The Same Reason.....

Kind of why I left the forums for a while, not just this one but most forums I posted on. Everybody has to criticize everyone else. Why? It's not your business, so chill out. This is supposed to be a community. Also, I think it would help if mods either closed threads/deleted posts.. I've seen...

    New dragons from bloodbankdragons.com

I like bloodbank. They're nice people, good prices, and will help you out if you're on a budget. Also, to the people flipping the f out about shipping: If Bearded Dragons were never shipped, we wouldn't have them as pets in America. Also, how do you think pet stores get there animals? They have...

    The Dreaded MDF !

I'm planning to use MDF when I build my 4x2x2. Going to use linoleum to line the inside, you can get it in just about any color. Basically I'm just going to build this: http://www.redtailboa.net/forums/how-tos-tutorials/20867-custom-cage-tutorial.html With more ventilation.

    Radiant Heat Panels

Just wondering if anyone has though about using radiant heat panels? They can get extremely hot, yet if you/or a reptile comes into contact with one, it will not burn. A lot of boa breeders are using them, and if you purchase one from Pro-Products you have a 5 year warranty. No more replacing...

    Mercury Vapor Bulb Fixture?

I do have a piece of slate sitting on top of two red bricks which raise the basking area about 2'' and provide a hide spot under neath. So it's still about 12'' from basking area to MVB.

    Mercury Vapor Bulb Fixture?

Don't mean to hi-jack this thread but I didn't want to start another MVB topic. Anyways, I'm considering buying an MVB bulb for when I get another dragon. The cage is 3' long, 16'' tall, and 18'' wide. I was thinking of going with a 100watt Mega-Ray, and was wondering if I would need to provide...

    Washington/Oregon?

Good thing I checked the For Free section again! There's a Beardie in Oregon. I contacted the owners, hopefully he's still available and I can pick him up! Fingers crossed. My local craigslist gets reptiles from time to time but it's mostly ball pythons and other constrictor snakes, and large...
