My rendition of gorilla wood glue directly on top of an unsealed pond and stone version of great stuff expanding foam with sand imbedded into it and if coarse the gorilla wood glue made me certain I had no loose particles. Love it ! And so does my dragon :)

    Viv pics only thread

This enclosure is made of the great stuff brand expanding foam pond and stone version . while expanding I covered it in sand. Then once cured I brushed off most extra sand and used gorilla wood glue to really make sure I had no loose particles to cause impaction. Although it turned out nice and...

Should I switch him to a new tank during brumation ?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether or not it would be ok to move my beardie into his new tank while he is in the midst of brumation? Perhaps it would be a easier on his nerves? Or maybe doing this would be advised against and he would have a rude awakening feeling tricked and never trust...

In need of hard coat seal ? since skiped the grout and paint

Hmmmm.... it looks like a perfect sealant. infact so perfect that I'm now suspicious. I looked at that pdf and I'm a bit confused as to why they spelled "mold " "mould" and what the biocide additive is that they mention.

In need of hard coat seal ? since skiped the grout and paint

Sorry I read this post after the other you replied to and I'm REALLY liking this option you've suggested . so do you have to paint it on like a goo or is it more like paint?

Rock solid answer to my method of madness ?

Wow that looks good but im planning to not use any grout or cement. So I'm curious does the polyvine decorators dead flat finish add any strength to the structure ? or is the strength due to the grout or cement and the finish just coat it ?

Moon sand !!?? Is it the answer to our prayers?

It has thrived in my leopard geckos habitat and the humidity is under 40% constantly excluing her humid hide, it was just finding a balance of good hardy micro fauna that was tricky. Also I suppose finding a proper way to exclude the humidity to just the humid hide but that was easier.

This thread IS me not taking the risk .I'm not just going to throw it in with my beardie all willy nilly. I'm diving so far into research and testing and contacting product help lines or consumer report centers and beardie vets and medical specialists and more to compile enough proof that it...

Moon sand !!?? Is it the answer to our prayers?

Haha no I'm not trying to sell the stuff but that's a good point even if it's in a dry environment as soon a spec of water gets on it I'd need to remove it asap . Although someone said you can air dry small amounts of water but I don't think I can believe that . Maybe they were talking about a...
