if they're local - all you need is a compost pile that has some fruit/veggies in it.

are you sure they were in dirt? just asking, cuz they appear like mad, in my compost bin that's only rabbit poo.

why are you harvesting them, to put them in a separate container prior to becoming beetles? if you leave them be, they'll turn into beetles on their own.
