We have been trying to get our bearded dragon (Scorch) to eat. He won't eat on his own. We are having to hand feed him with tweezers. We are feeding him medium size crickets. When we got him from his last owner he was not eating a lot and they fed him only super worms. No vegetables, fruits or...
Hello,
My wife and I recently adopted a bearded dragon. His name is Scorch. He is approximately 5 months old. Heweighs about 164g and is 14 1/2 "
Nice to meet everyone.
We are new to bearded dragons. So if you have any advice suggestions please let us know.
I am having trouble finding a good large hide besides like a tree bark piece sold at reptile shops. I'd like to find a large desert rock that an adult beardie can comfortably fit in. So far I haven't had much luck. If anyone can provide any assistance or advice that would be awesome.
Ok thanks for that information. Do you have any recommendations for light stands that will get a bit higher than my tank ? Like 3 or 4 tall? Everything around here is only up to 24 inches tall
Ok I don't have as muche room for a higher light stand. So would I benefit from a smaller watt halogen bulb and increase the distance from the tank top to basking area. Example like 15 inches? Also does the halogen provide Uva?
I just checked Temps it was at 99 for basking so I adjusted his log and now Is about 6 inches from basking high point. Will check temp in 1 hr. Cold side is 84 but it's also 100 in FL lol. House temp stays at 78 tho
