So how do you hydrate them? Just the liquid content in the food? I wasn't aware the cubes and crystals were bad. I have always given those and fresh veggie scraps to my crickets.

OP, I was just reading this post and you shouldn't feel bad. You are doing your best to try to make sure she has everything that she needs to thrive. When I first rescued my 2 bearded dragons, they came with nothing... just a coil uvb bulb. I have slowly been adding everything I have read here...

I would think your baby would be fine as long as you mist, have veggies available, the correct lighting and just make sure you give him extra attention when you are home.
