My girls are absolute Carnivores. They are eating about 1000 crickets every 3 weeks...if that long. They also love superworms and giant meal worms. I did get one to try a dandelion green...once :( I also gave them their first pinkie mice yesterday...they were thrilled (my wife was not) :lol:

Planning way ahead, they are too young now. Just want to.find.someone in the area.for.later

Also, I have that same decor in my tank for them to bask on. Be sure to plug the holes in it, crickets will crawl in and hide.

I went with the half inch crickets for my two 4 month olds. I bought 500 and they were all gone in 8 days. I will be going to the five week or 3/4 inch crickets this time . Since their life is only about 8 weeks you do not want to get them too old as they will die off before you can feed them...

IT is just the angle, i thought it looked funny in this pic, but I really wanted to show her looking fat. She really isnt that fat, it is just the perch pushing her gut up. She is wider than our other girl though.

Our fat and happy one! She just started basking in that spot yesterday, but it really makes her look fat. She is 8.5 inches now.

Anyone from the area? I would be interested in finding some folks around here for future breeding mates for my female beardies.

Just got our first 500 crickets from Flukers. They were a bit smaller than I would hope, but then again they will grow over the next few weeks before they are all gone. They arrived alive and I am happy. My two ladies are even happier, especially our Nei Tokk!

Yeah, then it was followed with questions about how babies are made, since he was hoping they would have babies...he is 8. Now he knows.... :banghead:

We have two girls! my son cried a little...lol. He will survive it.
