Sometimes in lizards the pus forms a hard casing around it and has to be removed. I would watch it to see if it gets bigger or not.

Do you think there is pus underneath it or an abcess. It is hard to find a good reptile vet. You could get some silvadene cream and see if that helps.

Taking my dragon in Monday for a partial tail amputation. They are going to use a nerve block. Is this common procedure? I'm just nervous about it. I;m ready for it to be done with. I know it's a fairly common procedure for dragons. What can I expect for recovery? Thanks.....

For those that use this on cuts and scrapes, wounds, etc., do you use a gel formulation like medihoney or do you just buy the raw honey by itself? Thanks.

We go back next week midweek. The dry scales sloughed off during bathing.. I might see if Wal-Mart has it.
