that's horrible :( It sounds redundant but don't lose hope. Ppl have lost their beardies OUTSIDE in the cold for weeks and have found them. I'm sure he'll turn up. best of luck to you.

I was pretty lucky with Sasha she warmed up quickly...obviously give them their space for about a week, you can still handle them for baths and feeding but that's it. Then just be persistent with handling so they get used to you. If they are really freaking out when you go to handle them, stop...

yup yup that's what I did, really annoying but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Yeah of course. It took mine awhile to get used to eating in the separate container in addition to the handling too...crickets are just so annoying and jump and hide everywhere otherwise. good luck :)

You can always feed your beardie in a separate bin too, that's what I did and it was soo much easier. And yeah after a few days your little guys' appetite will surely increase. Mine did the same, and then she was eating about 50 a day haha.

yeah my beardie is a flail-er, even when i have both hands if i go too fast she starts to freak abit. Not sure about that stomach thing though...

BELATED but - @taterbug omg that's beautiful! i especially love his outside-the-viv area that's a great idea. I know my Sasha just LOVES sitting on the window sill, getting to look at the great outside world. @kingsalmonattack oh man i want to get something like taht for my beardie to hang...

yeah I don't blame them since ppl rarely buy those large tanks as it is and then they lose a lot of money on that. Plus there's always craigstlist too.
