    Baby Beardie with no food

I think you've gotten some excellent advice about temporary food, so I wanted to offer some reassurance... I got my beardie from someone who'd been told wrongly that they only needed to be fed once every few days. He made it through his first few months and has no lasting damage. Fingers...

    Lethargic after a chill?

I wanted to return with an update! Our dragon is now back to his usual sassy self. We stopped poking at him so much and let him sleep when he wanted to. I am very excited to see a current discussion of growing live plants in the enclosure because I would love to figure this out, too. Plants are obviously a big part of their...

    My dragons poop everyday

My beardie pooped twice today so I think it's normal for hearty eaters (he's a juvenile on a growth spurt and I guess all those crickets have to go somewhere). I'm a bit jealous of people with dragons who wait longer because he can clear the room when it's under the heat lamp!

    Alfalfa

My assumption is that by sprouts they mean newly germinated seeds consumed whole (seed casing and root and all), and by alfalfa they mean leaves/stalks without any difference between old and new growth. Boxes of sprouts used to be common in grocery stores until there were several recalls a few...
