Our beardie, Sage, has a wound on her tail that is causing us concern. It's been around for a couple weeks doesn't seem to be healing. As far as we know nothing happened to her. There are no other lizards in her enclosure, and she didn't suffer any trauma. We did find a few roaches running...

Quick follow up. It did, in fact, shed. She's all pretty again and the kid no longer thinks Sage as some sort of head disease. Thank you!

She seems to be acting fine. She’s about 12 inches away from her basking bulbs. Thanks for the complement we think she’s pretty cute too :-)

Sage has had a small patch of peculiar scales on her head for several months now. We thought it would go away when she shed and it did not. It seems to have approximately doubled in size since about February when we first got her. The scales are indented, pale, and waxy in appearance. (see...
