    Runny/Mucosal Poop?

Hi everyone, these are pictures of my beardie’s (6yrs, F) poop taken at 5 seperate days over the span of June-August). I’ve noticed that my beardie’s poop has been more watery than usual (there’s usually a bit of water surrounding the poop, but this is excessive). On a few days there has been a...

    Muscle twitching?

Hi guys, it's been two months. She hasn't shook since, but she still looks disheveled looking and seems underweight. It could be my imagination, but her movements seem a little strained and jerky. She's been in her cave a lot, not pooping and barely eating so I suspect she's undergoing...

    Any feedback on this?

    Muscle twitching?

Left my beardie with my parents for a month. When I got back, she's personally looking pretty unhealthy and disheveled. It's hard for me to explain, but she has an anxious look in her eyes and she's lost weight. Her skin is wrinkly and saggy now. I have no idea what happened, they're still...

    Help! Superworm lost in enclosure

I was feeding a superworm to my 3yr old beardie just now and it wriggled out of the chopsticks and burrowed into my substrate (50-50 topsoil and sand mix). I can't find it now. I was wondering if I could just leave it in there, or will it be an issue? I'm concerned about the little guy too and...

    Feedback on diet?

That's funny haha the holding-off-bugs strategy is actually what I'm doing now, for the last week! Before she wouldn't eat a single piece of salad, so we had to do this. She's very responsive to it and has been eating ~4 leaves every day for the past couple of days. I'm very proud of her and I...

    Feedback on diet?

Hey y'all, I'm sorry for clogging up the forum with my posts tonight but I really want to review how well I'm taking care of by 3yr old beardie, Ginger. I've heard that adult dragons' diets should be 80% greens and 20% protein. Ginger always didn't seem to have that much of an appetite. Her...

    Beardie not thermoregulating?

I'll try to aim for 105 for now, since I'm mostly testing to see if she will move if it's too hot and it's my enclosure being too cold that's the problem. On a side note - how often do you measure your temps?

    Beardie not thermoregulating?

For UVB we're using the arcadia 12% T5, placed 10 inches away over mesh. It covers around 3/4 of the enclosure and over the basking spot.

    Beardie not thermoregulating?

It's worth a try. I'll bump up the temps to 105-110 to see if she moves.

    Beardie not thermoregulating?

My 3 yr old beardie is not moving from her basking spot (a hammock). She's been doing this behavior for a couple weeks now. The temps are hot enough - around 36C measured with a probe. However, she stays on the hammock all day and doesn't want to move even after basking after eating. When we...

    Beardie nervous?

Sounds good. After 5 mins, do I simply place her back in the tank? And I'm guessing I extend this amount of time little by little, until she's comfortable staying for an extended period of time?

    Beardie nervous?

Hello all, My 3 year old female beardie seems to get nervous whenever we look at her. Her eyes go huge and she twitches/straightens up. She's completely fine with being handled and moved around, but I suppose she doesn't enjoy it. How can I get her more comfortable with eye contact/our...

How to properly measure temperatures/UVB distance?

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. Are the temperatures you suggested (38-42ish for basking to high 20s for cool) based on measurements from a probe thermometer placed onto a surface?

Are these succulents/grasses suitable for enclosure?

Hi guys, I wanted to add some live plants to my beardie’s enclosure to fill up space. I heard that certain succulents and grasses are suitable for enclosures (edible and able to withstand temps/UV). I went to Home Depot today and found these, although I have trouble identifying what plants they...
