I got Ike from Dachiu bearded dragons. I've had him for just over 6 months and it's been a blast. My family loves having him around and my friends kids are constantly asking for videos and pics. It's awesome.
Admittedly I'm a relatively new beardie owner, but in the 7 weeks I've had my little guy he's essentially been in a perpetual shed. Not his whole body, but definitely part of him all the time. He's currently on his 3rd shed of his tail.
Sorry if this is in another topic, but I just couldn't find it. I have a new beardie, Ike, who I want to take to the vet. How do people transport theirs? Its a bit of a drive and I want to make sure he's safe and secure on the way there.
So i figured I'd update a bit and say that for the 3+ weeks Ike has been with me he's been fantastic. He's becoming really well adjust and will hop on my hand to come out when he wants. . Overall he's just great to have and is a voracious eater. I'm starting a dubia colony to cut down on food costs.
I'm a relatively new beardie owner, but here's my two cents. I live in an apartment that's not super conducive to letting Ike run around. I created a "playpen" out of a refrigerator box and some duct tape. I don't have any pictures of it right now, but it allows him a chance to run around...
Thanks. He's a bit of a goofball. He likes to sleep by climbing up the back of his tank and hanging on the wall. The same time every night. Like clock work. :D
