I feed low protein feed for my roaches. I believe it is healthier and better for the roaches. All the feed that I use is in the 14-16% protein range. The higher protein will get them to gain weight a little faster but at a health cost.

To shed some light on the subject: I use a 'florescent' UVB bulb. I use the Reptisun 10.0 Do NOT use the reptiglo bulb. To get UVB for you dragon you will have to use either a florescent type bulb or a mercury vapor bulb. As for a basking light anything that puts out a good amount of light...

Mine are growing, its just slow, i have added 2 different batches to the orignal so i have several sizes growing. My largest ones are now probably about 3/16" long now.

When i transfer my beetles i just pick them up one by one and transfer them. It does take a while but i have had good luck like that.
