    Greens storage/freezing

Thanks Karrie. ? Seems like yours are lasting about the same as mine, right around the 2-3 week mark. I guess I'm just greedy and want them to last until they're gone, lol. I really am thinking on trying to figure out a way to sneak them into my kid's meals! They need that nutrition just as much...

    Greens storage/freezing

How long do your greens last, and how do you store them? Ok, so I absolutely love to spoil our 6 month old bearded dragon Snowflake with salads that have a variety of greens. I include mostly mustard, turnip, and collard greens, green and red dandelion greens, I add little bit of kale to help...

Can his big tummy be from Hornworms? Good daily diet ?s

So play sand, topsoil, (or a mixture of the two) as opposed to something like calcium sand or Eco Earth substrate? I don't know how likely she will be to ingest it, as she normally eats outside her tank. (With the exception of her salads, which are left in her tank for munching on all day)...

Worm colonies: Silkies & Hornworms, no luck with BSFL

Thank you! I'm in my second attempt at trying to colonize the BSFL right now, so I appreciate that you took time to post. I did not have the first batch near a window or any sunlight, so I will definitely make that adjustment. I'm afraid to take the colony outside, as I worry that parasites...

Can his big tummy be from Hornworms? Good daily diet ?s

So I wanted to ask y'all's opinion on a dig box... Sometimes when Snowflake goes into her plastic hide, I can hear her digging around. At first, we thought she was trying to file her nails, so we switched from the plastic hide to the natural rock. She stopped doing it for a bit. But now, with...

Can his big tummy be from Hornworms? Good daily diet ?s

Thank you for the well-wishes, AHBD. That virus is definitely no joke! It is a ZooMed Reptisun 24" 10.0 T8 bulb. Yes, her outside playhouse is huge but it was originally.my kid's playhouse and she inherited it. We try to get her outside at least a few times per week to soak up natural UVB...

Can his big tummy be from Hornworms? Good daily diet ?s

Ok, so here's the new setup. ZooMed 24" UVB light (with reflector, I made sure!) Mounted in center of tank on adjustable shelf brackets (so I can move it up or down if needed) Right side is hot side... Natural rock basking area with hide cave. Basking spot avg. Temp 105°-110°, general area...

Can his big tummy be from Hornworms? Good daily diet ?s

Oh, and I wanted to add that getting her outside in the next few days is going to be tricky. We're in Texas and TS Hannah is making our weather not fun right now. Snowflake's not a fan of the rain, but I'm going to try to get her outside during the lulls. Here's a fun picture of her in her...

Right now I'm using ZooMed T8 bulbs. The link you sent is for T5 fixture & bulbs. I'm looking online and it seems T8 are much more widely available so I'd really be more comfortable sticking with those, just to ensure I have multiple options when reordering. (Chewy, Petco, PetSmart, etc. all...
