The uv light fixture sits about 6" above him, typically directly over him.... But if I leave the house... It sits atop the wire screen , 6"above him when he's perching .

the last day both a super worm and a few wax worms came out in the poop whole.
is this normal? is there a way to make him chew them better..... i already hand feed them so he takes one at a time.... any other ideas?? or just leave it be?

regular baths.. he takes like every other day.... but doesnt really drink from it. I do put a few drops on his tip of mouth that he sometimes will lick... but maybe only once or twice does he actually lick it.

thanks cooperdragon.... I took a few of the areas you say to pay attention too.... and nothing stands out as 'bony' in my eye...... one other question regarding the skin. Should it be 'taught'? or wrinkles?... I read that if you kind of pull the loose wrinkle up and it doesn't fall quickly back...
I know there are so many variations to Beardies, but I am a newbie and adopted a 2 year old male beardie.... He has been with me a week now. I think he is still too skinny ... and not even sure his 'skin' is a healthy look. He does have pretty bright eyes... and his poop is finally normal !! lol
