No, I fear that it was what had me worried for weeks. She hadn't pooped for over a month. I came on here, and asked what to do. They told me to use olive oil, and BAM, it worked. Now, I can only suspect it was the sands fault. I'm putting tile in it this time. Sands the devil.

Hello all. I've finally got some tiles for Sally's enclosure. I have a big of sand in there right now. What is the best way to clean the sand out? I have a Central vac in my house. Would that work? Or, am I forced to scoop it all out?

Update for you all! So, I gave her some Olive oil. I dripped a little bit on her nose and she lapped it up like no tomorrow! I made the bath a little warmer than usual, and made it a little deeper than usual, to make her swim. She tried the floating thing, but I picked her up, let her deflate...

She walks fine, no lumps or anything.. I'm not sure if she was in Brumation.. How would I be able to tell? I'll try to oil tonight, and get her to swim a little bit. I tried that once, but she blew up and just started floating everywhere. It was funny, but scary.

I've been bathing her every night in warm water. Basking temps range from 100-110, but right where she likes it is a constant 105.

Oh.. As far as feeding goes. In my experience, I've never had crickets be annoying or wake me up due to the sound they make. I never really got a funk from them, either. If you want, you could keep them outside it if gets bothersome.

First things first, welcome to the Forums and hooray for choosing a Beardie! I'd return the kit immediately. You should be able to get your money back if it hasn't been too long. The kit has inadequate lightening, horrible substrate, and the day/night bulb is useless. I'll tell you what I did...

I don't have a water bowl in Salacia's viv. I don't think many people do. I, like many others here, give her baths. I usually do it once every 2 days, and she stays hydrated. They also stay hydrated from their greens. I'd go with the bath method.

That's why I decided "No" on the underwater one. I was going to do an Asian theme.. But I couldn't find Bamboo sheets for the walls.. And I gave up. Lolol
