We haven't taken him in yet. I really just got the light/heat situation dialed in the last 5-6 days...so I'm curious if it takes a little while for him to acclimate...?

So we put a background on the tank. Moved a branch close to the UVB light. Temps are great. And our beardie still will not eat anything (over a week now). We have tried different types of veggies and fruits that are good for Beardies. Crickets too (hand feeding). He as pooped a couple times...

Greetings, my family and I are proud new beardie owners. We got Smiddy from Petco. about 11 days ago. He's approx. 6 inches. Not sure the age. Setup- 40 gal. breeder tank with a mesh lid. 18 inch Zilla Slimline Desert 50 UVB T8 mounted in the tank (will be swapping to a Reptisun 10.0 soon)...
