Digging right before bed. Should I get substrate in there?

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of Pepper before, Tater. Only heard you talk about him. He's amazing looking :)

Digging right before bed. Should I get substrate in there?

My 7 month always digs before sleep. If he is on my bed when he's ready for a snooze, he will dig himself under my blankets. In his viv, I usually just give him a cloth or paper towels to dig around with, or he will try and pull up his reptile carpet.

    Atadenovirus and my Dragon

Update Rook is taking to his supplements quite well. He's started on milk thistle and colloidal silver. After 3 days, he's already been waking up earlier, going to sleep later, and willing to eat his dubia and (some) veggies. He's still been on baby food slurries (chicken and squash), which he...

    Atadenovirus and my Dragon

I'm sorry for you loss :( I've read that dragons with adv are prone to coccidia and pinworms in particular. His next fecal check is this next coming monday, so I'll know by then. He's been in and out of the vet for these parasites, so I'm hoping this is the end of it. He's been taking his milk...

    Atadenovirus and my Dragon

No other health issues besides the parasites. He had slightly and some recent lethargy, but that's about it. Warm side is around 91 and cold side is about 83-85. Basking spot is between 105-110. Lately I've been keeping his CHE on at night to keep his tank around 80, because he seems to be more...

    Atadenovirus and my Dragon

Already ordered some supplements, so hopefully he can get his appetite back soon. Thanks for the tip, just gave them a message. And thank you, I really appreciate the kind words.

    Atadenovirus and my Dragon

My beardie Rook is my first and only dragon. He was three months old and 10 inches long when I got him. He settled in relatively quickly, eagerly eating dubia, worms of all variety, and veggies ranging from collards to squash. A few weeks later, I took him into the vet to get checked up on...

Hunger Strike: The Worms of Desire

He ate two roaches today, which is such a relief after a 4 day strike. I'll definitely look into that for some silkies, thank you! :)

Hunger Strike: The Worms of Desire

My beardie is currently on a hunger strike against dubia roaches and crickets. Before this, he decided that he was too good for greens as well (squash only...). I only know that he is not completely starving himself because he goes wild for superworms, hornworms, and phoenix worms. This is...

Darkened Skin Beneath Spike on Side (Identify)

Thank you :) Yeah, he's been through a lot with his parasites, so I'm hoping he can catch a break this round.

Darkened Skin Beneath Spike on Side (Identify)

I recently took my boy Rook into the vet for a post parasite treatment. While I was waiting, I noticed this little darkened area on his side. I brought it up to my vet, where we both concluded that it was probably not yellow fungus, but she couldn't identify it. Has anyone ever seen anything...

    Picky eater

I'm going through a similar situation with my 6 month juvie. He was being treated for pin worms, and while taking his medication, his appetite for dubia never decreased. Right after he finished, I allowed him to eat supers, because he just hit 16''. But since then, he has been turning down...
