My beardie did the same thing when I brought him home. When he gets adjusted to his new home he's start eating (assuming his temperatures and everything is okay). :D

I'd recommend keeping a bowl that has fresh veggies throughout the day. It'll just ensure that your beardie is never hungry. I know dubia roaches can live for a long time if they're properly feed. And sometimes they can live days without food. I usually just buy one day's worth of crickets...
