UPDATE: It was an abscess. my coworker was able to drive me so i took him down this afternoon. They made a small incision and drained it and gave me some stem gel to apply to the incision in the mouth and the small incision on his beard. He looks much better now and hopefully the gel helps...

Since I still have another day or so before he will go, should I do anything in the meantime? I have raw honey, would that help at all to apply? Anything I can do to reduce the swelling?

No difference! He’s still eating and active but the lump hasn’t changed size at all. Hoping to get him into the vet on Tuesday (it’s my day off and i think my coworker may be willing to drive me) any idea what I should expect from vet trip? Anything I should be asking about? Thank you!

Oh yeah they definitely have surgeries/xray/etc. just meant that I do not believe they offer any kind of pickup/car service! Sorry for the confusion! With the RI i was able to contact vet directly via email which was nice but I will definitely call hosp in morning!
