I'm just so sick of dealing with Zoo Med stonewalling me. I'm out--I'm going to try to return the bulb to the seller I ordered from, and get an Arcadia T5-HO. I don't want anything whatsoever to do with Zoo Med anymore. I just can't trust a company that tells different things to different people...

I would definitely say the grow-out bin is an outdoor/shed project. There is a smell from the decomposing foods. Although, if you have it outdoors and not in a shed, make sure you protect it from rain and predators. I learned the hard way that possums are very fond of the grubs and had to start...

So I just checked my new bulb, that I just got in the mail a few days ago. It's got gold caps and black numbers printed on the bulb... So what's the procedure? Do I contact the company about getting a new one? Or will this output still fall within acceptable parameters for amount of UVB??

Wow! Digging for hours and no getting through it? Drylok is definitely tougher than I thought! I've only used it so far for rocks in a frog tank, and they're super easy on their environment, so I didn't know it would hold up to so much abuse.

Be sure to keep us updated on how the rocks handle wear and tear. I've got some Drylok sitting in my shed, so I'm considering using it instead of the grout method.
