Thanks!
Yeah, he is a cool little guy. Nothing really bothers him at all and he has never been a shy guy to anything.
I measured him today and he is a little over 16.5 inches and 285 grams. Going to be a big boy!
Italian leatherbacks have smoother scales as well as micros. Micos have minimal or no side spikes. American leatherbacks have little stud-like scales on them.
Rugby is 5 months old 16 inches and 230 grams
He gets pretty much fulled size dubia roaches 5 or so a day and greens. He also gets silkworms and occasional superworms.
His tank is a large clear rubbermaid tub for now....saving for some critter condos.
He gets bathed about once a week or more...
Ah back on track here with Rugby!!! He is a tad over 16 inches and about 230 grams. His tail finally broke its shed and a really cool bright neon orange scale popped up! Its about the same color as his cheeks! Really excited ro see if all of him will be that color some day??? His dad was a...
Someone needs a life. Before you go saying crap about what horse I am selling. Its none of your business and you dont know what kind of seller I am.
First off, the vet checked her and the front legs were because my farrier trimmed her too short.
Second, the back legs will need injections...
Thanks! 4 months old and I think he is over 15 inches. He just ate 9 or so silks before the picture so he had some worm guts on his face :)
He is a beautiful boy
I dont have time or money for pasture pets. I need a horse I can give a job to or find someone who will suit them. She will be fine for light riding, but cow work no way. Just posted her for sale. Still waiting to hear from the previous owner and hoping i can get some money back.
No, had the vet come out. really minor but at her age and for how little I been riding her its not good if she will be a high perfomance horse. Poor girl, she is such a nice horse too. :( Not sure what will happen next.
Rugby was 190 grams yesterday. He just finished 7 or so silkworms :)
I can still ride the horse but she is short on one hind leg, but I think both lames are showing signs of being lame. I talked to the last owner and it sounds like we can work something out once the vet comes and sees her...
Yup youre right, I ment the horse's name.
However, the horse is lame and I am having a vet come see her Monday. I contacted the previous owner and hopefully we can work something out financially since she is not sound.
