Beardie Refusing Crickets & Calcium Powder

I caved. He’s eating the super worms just fine, so I don’t think it’s a temp thing. Dreading the mess that will come tomorrow, but hopefully his stool will level out in the coming days. I’ll try mixing in some crickets as well...got 1500 going to waste otherwise lol

He was so bad last night lol. He settled down after his bath a bit. Going to give him his morning feeding shortly and do a check on temps with the new bulb. I'm limited with what I can get my hands on locally so I have to have things shipped. So even just to get 125 phoenix worms, I'm looking...

Of course, would love to provide variety, thus the introduction. Not a huge increase, but the basking log is more consistent around the 105-107 mark instead of having patches that drop to 85-90. Keeping a close eye to make things don’t get too hot. He’s been fussing all night and I feel...

Beardie Refusing Crickets & Calcium Powder

Ah, I didn’t realize changes in diet could cause runny stools. I did bump his basking light from 100w to 150w —- just to get more consistent temps on his basking spot. Tried Repashy — he ate a little bit of paste but ignoring it as well. He’s really energetic and scrambling around his viv —...

I'll check them out. Silk worms are even more expensive it seems. No, he's only on crickets at the moment (or lack there of!).

Discord’s illegal too. No roaches in Canada whatsoever.

Illegal country wide. Only BSFL provider is incredibly marked up. He’s been throwing fits all day...assuming because he’s hungry but ignores crickets every time I try.

Beardie Refusing Crickets & Calcium Powder

I'm 99% sure its a T8. Mounted on the insite and about 6 inches from his basket spotting. I'm pretty sure its not the lighting, because the week I had him on superworms he was ravenously hungry, and given their shells I'm not sure what regular "digestion" would look like. No dubias here...

He just had 8 for his morning feeding — all with calcium. Begrudgingly it seems

Sorry, basking spot is 100-105, mixed up the ambient temp of warm side. Basically day 3 of his hunger strike today. I have a few super worms left but don’t want to drag out any longer than need be. I tried putting him in a “feeding bin” with loose crickets...nothing. They don’t exist to him...

Beardie Refusing Crickets & Calcium Powder

Hi there, this little guy has got me stressed these days. A few weeks back, I decided to change up his diet by introducing new feeders (butterworms, hornworms), as treats. Ever since then, he constantly turns his nose up at crickets. So after a few days of this, I tried having him eat...

    Baby Beardie closing his eyes

His eyes are still bugging him. I swapped out the lighting last week for a Reptisun 10. Still doing the saline. Appetite is up and down but generally pretty good. He just ate a ton this morning - bathroom habits are fine as well. I did have some left over Tobrex from one my cats and read that...

    Baby Beardie closing his eyes

Unfortunately there is only two Her vets near me. I booked him for Tuesday. It looked like it was getting better on Wednesday but no change yesterday or today. Still pretty active, eating normally (though spaced out between resting eyes). I look going to start saline again flu too his appt...

    Baby Beardie closing his eyes

Vet's are generally overpriced as it is where I am, I imagine more so for herp vets. But yeah, I'm calling around. Will keep you posted - thanks for all the guidance.
