My new baby bearded dragon won't eat!?

Yes 3 times a day, 10-15 minutes at a time. I put one bug and then another and then another until he doesn't want anymore. If you are feeding him in his viv, be sure to remove any uneaten crix because they can bite him :( He's a little guy! He might be a couple of weeks old. Definitely not 11...

My new baby bearded dragon won't eat!?

If he is as long as your index finger, then he is probably around a month old. Whoever told you 11 weeks grossly misinformed you. But that's okay! Baby beardies are a different and fun challenge and although they can be frustrating at times, they will prove you a better beardie owner because of...

Can't Get The Stink Out of Second Hand Tank

I would think something acidic like lemon juice or tomato sauce would help negate smells.

NEW BEARDED DRAGON NEED HELP PLANNING :)

Herbivite? Is that the brand? You can get it at a pet store. Probably the same pet store you'll get your crix from! Also, don't be afraid to shop around for other feeders. They're usually cheaper and you can buy them in bulk. I feed mine Phoenixworms as a staple and keep them in a mini fridge...

NEW BEARDED DRAGON NEED HELP PLANNING :)

Tubes don't really give out heat, so you don't really need to worry about them getting hot. You can get a tube and then an undercounter light fixture from Walmart for $10 and mount it into the tank with some 3M picture hanger strips ($4 for a pack that'll last you years). I have a 100w heat...

NEW BEARDED DRAGON NEED HELP PLANNING :)

The dragons come from the Australian outback, which is a desert. Nighttime temps can drop 20-30 degrees. You want to keep it between 65 and like 75 ambient temps (I had to train my boyfriend not to run our ice box A/C at night because of this), but yeah they do fine without it. They actually do...

NEW BEARDED DRAGON NEED HELP PLANNING :)

And feeding depends on the beardie! I've heard tales of babies eating like 40-50 crix a day, but I think that's a overt exaggeration as mine eats anywhere from 2-10 in a go. Just feed them 3x a day for 10 to 15 minutes at a time as many they can eat. And have greens available all the time.

NEW BEARDED DRAGON NEED HELP PLANNING :)

You don't need a light at night. It messes with their sleep cycle. If your house dips lower than 65 degrees at night, you can get a CHE (ceramic heat emitter) that doesn't shine a light or has any color. Also, is the UVB a bulb or a tube? Tubes work better. This forum sings the praises of the...

    My Beardie Hates Me :(

I've had Charmander for 3 weeks now and everyday it's been this weird fight. Fight to get him to come out of his hide in the morning, fight to eat worms and greens, fighting against glass surfing, fighting (well, more like running) away (from) my hand, fight to bathe, fight to find the right...
