He is 17 inches long so I'm thinking he's close to a year old. I will go take a close up of his tail and try to remember how to post pics on here. It doesn't seem to look like a rubber band is wrapped around it as of yet anyways. I hope it never does. Thank you so very much for your response.

So I've already posted here about our beardie, Buster and his shedding before. But I'm really starting to become truly concerned! We've had him for about 3 months now. He's 14 inches long. He seems healthy, he eats alot (both greens and insects)... but for the last 3 months he has had one shed...

Thano you for your input. We will definitely keep a closer eye on him! So far, he has not done it when he's out of the viv. He also doesn't seem to have any sort of eyesight problems because it's obvious he sees just fine to eat, climb, and do anything else he chooses to do. We tong feed him...

He is just nipping it quickly. But we could hear his mouth/teeth scraping on it (sounded painful to me) we fees him calcium (without D3) one feeding per day, and calcium (with D3) once a week. We also have his multi vitamins that we also feed once a week... today is the very 1st time we've ever...

Please help!! So our beardie 'Buster' is acting VERY strange this morning! We have a piece of sandstone in his cage to help him shed. Well this morning he is biting it, almost like attacking it! We can hear him grinding his teeth on it even... we've never seen him behave like this before, so...

And we measured him yesterday, and he measures at exactly 11 inches long. He's in the middle of his second shed, he just got done with his 1st shed (1st she'd since we've had him, and pet store doesn't know if he shed before) just a few days ago.

Thank you all for your responses! I will he ting a different brand/type of calcium! I also have 1 more question... and I know this is kinda a complicated subject. But how many dusted/spayed insects do you generally feed? Our beardie is about 9 or 10 inches long now, and I know it varies by size...

Do any of you have beardies that are really stubborn/picky when it comes to eating whatever you have dusted with the calcium or multi vitamin? Our beardie, Buster will NOT eat ANYTHING that has been dusted! We've tried everything! We've put it on his crickets, roaches, and superworms, we've...

Also, we do have a rather large piece of sandstone in his tank, and a branch that he absolutely loves. And we also mis him from time to time.

Thank you both very much for taking the time to reply to me. I had read that shedding like this can mean something is wrong with their home or health etc etc... and my entire family has grown so attached to him (we think he's a he lol). We do give him baths, he's not always so fond of them...
