sadly when i came home today from my grandparents house his eyes were sunken in his beard was black his body was stiff (except his tail) including under his beard and his arm was stuck in a position to the side of his body i don’t want to keep looking at him but i think he is dead i don’t know if he’s breathing because i don’t want to look i’m so sorry please don’t be mad i tried to help or rehome him i was just too late -rip max i loved him and i failed him

time before you got him. At least he got some love & attention before he passed. You did all you could

I'm so sorry for the loss of precious Max.. I can tell this was a traumatic experience for you. You did the best you could. It is not your fault. You will always find support here should you need it. Rest in peace Max as Tracie mentioned, at least he got some due care and attention near the end.
