shaking/jolting

Hello I’ve had my bearded dragon for close to a month and I’ve noticed his back legs will sometimes jolt. It somewhat resembles the signs of mbd but still looks different. My lighting setup is an Arcadia 12% uvb and his temps on his basking spot range from 100-112. I dust his food with pure calcium 5x a week and give him a multi vit with d3 on the weekends so I’m very confused to why his legs would be doing this and I’m starting to get very worried and stressed for my little baby.

What type of UVB do you have? Is it a coil or a tube?

Is it inside the tank or outside. Also, 5x a week is alot of calcium for a beardie. 2-3 times is alot better. Is it look like they are stretching/flicking something off legs or is it a shaking?
Inside, and he’s a baby he’s only like 2 or 3 months old I thought he was supposed to get calcium 5x a week and also more Ike stretching/ flicking sort of his lights are out rn and he’s sleeping so if he does it tomorrow I’ll do my best to record it

Yes, if they are a baby then they should get a bit more of it. I'm not really sure about him flicking his legs, but I have seen my lizard stretch them, so I thought I might have some advice if that was the case.

Nah it’s not stretching cause it looks odd and out of the blue and it only lasts a couple of seconds also it doesn’t look like the tremors most people post so I’m very concerned/ confused

Ok so update was doing some research and it may be stuck shed?? Apparently they do movement like that to help but it doesn’t look like scratching.
Anyway I’m going to call my local exotic vet tomorrow to help my figure this out

Yeah that's weird. Post a video tommorow and people will most likely be able to figure it out for you.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
