I'm not sure how Toothless did this, undoubtedly running back and forth across his tank whenever he sees Nova. I don't think it was bleeding, and he's walking fine on it. What can we put on it to prevent infection.?

Raw unpasteurized honey, or Manuka honey

You can use none pain relieving neosporin type ointment also, but personlly i would never put the ointment someplace they could reach and lick it

The only thing is his grubs somehow escape his bowl but otherwise, no bugs in tank. It doesn't seem to bother him but u put honey on his foot anyway.

Grubs? BSFL? I dont think they will bother the foot -- yes put some raw honey on it right away -- this will promote healing

What about betadine.? Chris is in an emergency vet reptile group and that's what they suggest. Betadine soak and then the honey after.?

Betadine is a antiseptic and could possibly burn him-- I would go w/ just the honey for now --- the BSFL shouldnt bother him its crickets
