I can't tell if these are old injuries and look okay, current shed or possible finger/tail rot that I need to be concerned about. Can anyone tell.? His finger may be hard to see but right after his claw, it looks like a chunk of shed and then his finger but whatever that lump is on the front of his finger won't budge, even after a bath and me messing with it so I think it's his finger.? It doesn't seem to bother him, though.

I would recommend to take him to the vet. Did/does it get bigger or worser?

I don't know. We just rescued him yesterday (monday) from a petstore with way too many babies in one tank. It doesn't seem to bother him at all and I think some of what's on his finger came off after a bath so I think it may be stuck shed or something.

The first two pics look like maybe a possible pinch or band of coloring I cant tell - we need AHBD to look and see if she can tell

Hi there, it's not really obvious what happened, just keep an eye on it. BTW maybe merge this with the other thread since it's about the same dragon. His toes were probably bitten off , make sure to keep him in his own enclosure so it doesn't get attacked by the other baby. You got good avice from the others on your first thread so far. :)

Oddly enough, as soon as the babies came out from under their t-shirt beds, nubby ran and bit the other baby.! 😲😲

So thinking they'd be okay together was shorter lived than we expected. He seemed really scared afterward (he ran, bit the other then let go then ran back and was hunkered down and breathing really hard) so I think maybe he forgot his clutch-mate was in there with him and got startled, because he's used to fighting for resources and stuff.

So we are going to separate them. We have a 55 gallon and I think we're going to do that and put a divider in until we can buy a 4x2 shortly.

That's hilarious. I saw a photo of a handicapped one named lieutenant Dan. 😂😂

I noticed his good feet and underside and the top last half of his tail is grey.? Like it's dirty from sand or something but he had a bath last night. Is that concerning.?

It might be shed, but you have experience so if you think it isn't post a pic of it.

Okay so I got pictures. I don't think it's shed, toothless' and Nova's shed was never this weird gray color.

Yes that's just shed, seen many just like this.
Oh it is.? It didn't look like it, usually you can see the shed sitting on top, if that makes sense. Does it look like shed on the claw of his good foot, too.? He won't let me really mess with it at all, I just don't want him to loose anymore of his tail or anymore feet or anything.

Hello,

I agree, it is some shedding going on there. I think it should heal up & shed without a problem.
You can put some aloe vera gel, or silver gel on it if needed.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
