You can, you can also buy cricket chow at pet stores.
You will need to give them water also. Crickets are stupid and will drown. You can buy stuff the hydrate them but what worked for me was cutting the bottom off of water bottles so it was shallow and filling it full of cotton balls. That allows them to drink without drowning.

I did that and oh boy i cant even see the pepper because of all the crickets eating it.

The final questions i have is:

The humidity inside the tank its about 45%, is that too high?

How long do the lights have to be on?

How do i dust the crickets, my beardie is about 6 months they think and they said i only had to get calcium powder with D3.

And im so happy because i saw him in his water bowl! He seems very okay. Im using sand right now and he doesnt really seem to lick that much. Is there any signs u can look if he has impaction? Thanks for all the help 🙂

Also, i just bought a bunch of crickets and to gut load them can i feed them peppers? I only have peppers and romaine lettuce
I woukdnt- carrots are good do not feed the dragon carrots tho- too much vitamin A- romaine is good also good for the dragon- I would get more salad stuff for your dragon -- ignore the kale info it's out dated Nutrition Content
Usually whatever you feed the dragon you can gutload the insects-- are you giving supplements?

Havent given him any insects, will start by tomorrow. How do i dust the insects? I got calcium powder with D3. Is 45% humidity too high and how many hours per day do the lights have to be on?

Your humidity is good - photo period 12 hrs on 12 hrs off- is standard- please get rid of the sand- too much impaction risk- textured NON adhesive shelf liner is good found at Walmart or your local home Depot - supplements of calcium D 3 dusted on insects 5 x per week ONCE per feeding vitamins w beta carotene 2 x per week ONCE per feeding - put the crickets in a zip lock bag lightly coat them no powder sugar looking insects-

If i notice anything weird i will remove the sand and go by something like non adhesive shelf liner, just gonna see how it goes :)

You can get containers for dusting, but imho they are a waste of money. You can just dump the amount of crickets you intend to feed into a ziplock baggy then put in a pinch of calcium and/or a pinch of multivitamin and gently shake them. Don't put in an excessive amount of powder it will kill the crickets and will end up wasted. Just a very light dusting us all you need.
As for other feeders, i save a few of the containers the dubias or superworms come in, and do the same as the crickets, a pinch or so of what ever in using that day, put the lid back on and shake them up a bit. I use these containers because it's easier to get the insects out of than the baggy.

Thank you, is there any signs that i can look for impaction? I havent seen him lick that much and he is often on his 2 basking spots or in the water bowl. I dont feed him on the sand either. I think by doing all that the risk of impaction is reduced by a bunch.

It can help - watch for sand in the stool- if you start finding it get rid of it- they can't digest it and it will start backing up- flared vent is another indication

I will start giving him insects today. About 15 insects per feeding 3 times a day. I will dust them once per day 5 times a week. Can he get too much calcium? i will sprinkle a little bit of calcium on the 15 crickets and hopefully that isnt too much

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
