So Qibli here has a scale or something coming off on his tail I’m wondering what it is I looked it up and it says it can be from poor nutrition and it might be because he isn’t eating his salad I’ve tried everything to pollen from putting some bugs in his salad to even making his butternut squash into little noodles to make it look like worms but nothing works he’s just stubborn I still offer a salad every day but I’m worried about his tail he is my first bearded dragon I just recently got another one but he is an amazing eater so if anyone can please help I’ll post a pic below (also I don’t think it’s shed skin because it clicks like a piece of plastic and whenever I touch it he pulls his tail away like it hurts, I also took him to the vet a while ago because he seemed to have lost his appetite and stopped eating his bugs and was worried about parasites so I gave them a poop sample it turned out negative but they didn’t say anything else except that his teeth were dirty and had black stuff on it and they thought it was because he was eating the BSFL and they weren’t crunchy enough or something and that it wasn’t cleaning his teeth but they didn’t see anything else wrong with him) thanks for anyone that can help

Hello,

I agree, it is a single scale that might have gotten scraped the wrong way on something in his tank.
He should be fine though. If it seems to be bothering him, you can put some aloe vera gel on it, but
it will eventually shed off for him.

I see scales like that on one dragon or another from time to time (i have 5 so it's random) you could try some coconut oil, or aloe vera maybe to soften it. But DON'T pull it off, you could injure him. It should come off on it's own when it's ready.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
