Stuck shed!!

Hi! I’m Anna and below is Finnegan. He’s about a year and a half old and his tank enclosure has a T8 uvb bulb (no plastic cover and it’s in a good distance!) and a nice heat source (planning on getting another for a little more warmth) and it stays about 80-85 (f) during the day and about 65-70 (f) during the night currently because it’s winter. His ceramic heating bulb broke cause I dropped it.😅 He has good humidity and his bedding is all natural too soil and very fine aquarium sand in about an 80/30 mix. He’s in a forty gallon tank and I’m planning on getting a much bigger one which I’m very excited for. Here’s where the problem lies. He has what I think is stuck shed on the bottom of his left foot and some big stuck shed near his femoral pores and @nus (sorry! I don’t know if this site is weird about certain words!) It’s very sensitive and it has been on there for months now. I would’ve done something sooner but he was brumating. Bathing isn’t working and so I resorted to seeing if I could gently tweeze of the very top layer seeing if it would work which it partially did in some places but the others were too sensitive and he is not happy with me. He’s eating normally and using the bathroom normally.(He never understood the concept of drinking so if he’s not hungry and I can’t give him water sprayed lettuce I water him with a syringe🤦‍♀️) I’m not really sure what to do. Should I take him to the vet? Would he need surgery? Will more shed aid in his baths work? Are his femoral pores clogged? I’m so worried!😭 Here are some pictures below of the shed and his tank.

Pores look fine- he needs surface basking temps of 95-100 - taken w/ a digital probe thermometer- his shed is fine- please no more baths-- they will dry his scales out- let the shed do its thing- the T 8 is in the tank? It need to be directly over the basking decor 6-8 inches- it must not be over 6 months old-- please no more lettuce - what else is his diet?

For maintenance on the pores just give him a piece of flat stone to rub on and he'll take care of them on his own.

Like I said I’m getting another heating lamp and I have a digital thermometer it really does not look like his shed is fine it’s become multiple layers of shed and he’s uncomfortable. Yes that’s a T8 it’s not over six months and has no cover he gets mostly greens like lettuce in his diet because he’s a year and a half old and his vet told me (and so did the research I did on my own before I even got him) he will start to gradually ween himself off of bugs for the most part which did happen. He still gets Dubai roaches every week or two and horn worms when I can find them and he always has access to freeze dried meal worms. In his salads are shredded carrots and once in a while some fruit and his lettuce is sprayed with water and every few days is sprinkled in calcium powder.

What kind of lettuce are you feeding?

He has lots of them in there now and he’s not doing anything 😢 I’m worried
The pores don't look bad- when they are protruding take some coconut oil and put on them keep doing that till they are soft it will make them easier to come out - you can gently squeeze and they should pop right out -

What kind of lettuce and please no more dried meal worms - it can dehydrate them you want to feed fresh salads and live insects- and romaine lettuce is good but no iceberg - no nutritional value and causes runny stools

His pores look perfectly fine in your pics. As long as they aren't irritated you should not mess with them.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
